I met someone on your platform last year in March. Before we started dating, he told me his HÏV status, which is usually negative, as everyone else is negative. So, I believed him when he said he didn't want sêx before marriage, which surprised me because all my exes wanted sëx; they would always tell me they wanted it.
I agreed, and we began to date. He's in Lagos, and I'm in Abuja. Fast forward to December last year when we met in the village. He told me he's ready to settle down with me, and I should let my family know, which I did. I was so happy, finally, after too many heartbreaks.
The problem now is that we went for a general test on Saturday, and it was confirmed that my man is HÏV positive. Could it be the reason why he said no sêx, so I would fall in love with him, and when I found out, it would be too late for me to say no?
